Software QA Developer

Adidas

I worked as Software Developer in Test Automation, doing the automation of the product APIs, we used serenity as automation framework with Java. Here We had to deal with many different technologies, because the data displayed on adidas apps are got from different parties. We had to work with AWS, FTPs, XML messaging, SAP, and more information provided from different ecommerce services.

Here I spent a few month because the workplace was far away from my home town, despite of that I belive I did some extra work apart of my daily taks, like a swagger validator where we use the swagger specification downloaded from that thirdparty service, and with a java library we could validate our received responses against it. I took that idea from one of my previous jobs where it was implemented on the API it self, not in the test, like I did; I followed that approach because I though it will have less impact because adidas was not mature enough.

Automation Tester

Accenture - Amadeus -

I worked at this company as automation tester in the Payment team where I validated and review the code delivered as well as the documentation. As defect tracking tool we use HP-ALM where we own tests set, which are updated regularly by me each release to add new tests and run them. I followed SAFe Agile as workflow of the teams.

Also I was in touch with the delivery Manager to inform about our deliveries and bugs found. I have developed here a tool to automate the payment in an external website, before it was done manually, reducing the manual tests set.

Here mainly we work using postman for the automation of the REST API calls.

QA Tester

Tata Consultancy Services - Iberia, Airline -

During my Internship in the Quality Assurance Department I was able to automate the lifecycle (build, deployment) of the software development, test that application and execute some statistical analysis for different purposes.

I developed both regression and manual testing. In addition, as part of the test team achieved compliancy with the current developed tests through extensive analysis and reconfiguration. Typical challenges like undetected bugs, false positives were addressed. Extensive support and communication to third party companies was also required. In addition, I provided regression test for my team, and worked hand in hand with the group to create a strategy for the upcoming features and requirements for other development teams.

During the time spent in this organization, the opportunity to learn and apply my knowledge has allowed me to further understand real systems development and testing in large enterprises and businesses. The challenges faced and the experienced gained will allow me to be an asset in any large organizations’ development team.
